Bearing Rings Blank Forging
Dec 09, 2020
Bearing rings blank forging processing is the first process of bearing production. The quality and productivity of blank rings have an important impact on the quality, performance, lifespan and economic benefits of bearing products. This is because the size of the blank margin (including the forming mode of handbroken) determines the utilization rate of bearing materials, the internal quality of the ring includes the density of the material, the streamline distribution of metal fibers, grain size and deformation treatment, etc., which has a great impact on the life of the bearing: the dispersion of the size of the blank and the poor geometric accuracy of geometry cause waste. The main reason for high grade rate, normal automation production and processing quality affecting subsequent processes (becauses of error replay law). The accuracy and performance of roughcast machining equipment determine the quality of roughcast.
There are forgings, cold extrusions, warm extrusions, pipes and bars, etc., of which forgings account for about 85% of the total number of jackets. The main purpose of bearing sleeve forging is to obtain blanks similar to the shape of the product, so as to improve the utilization rate of metal materials and reduce the amount of mechanical processing: to eliminate the internal defects of metals, improve the metal structure to make the metal streamline reasonably distributed and the density is good, so as to improve the service life of bearings. According to the temperature of metals during forging, forging is divided into three categories: hot forging, cold forging and warm forging: forging processing that heats the metal to above the recrystallization temperature is called hot forging, the deformation of metal at room temperature is called cold forging, and the metal deformation between the meso-dry is called warm forging. The most popular processing method now is hot forging.
The production process of hot forging bearing rings mainly includes three links: heating, cutting and forging. Forging shape is the central link of winding forging production. There are many forms. China uses three major types of processes, hammer forging, flat forging machine forging and press forging. After the press is forged, it needs to be expanded by the reaming machine to improve the quality, accuracy and productivity of the forging. Sometimes, in order to further improve the size and geometric accuracy of the forging and create conditions for the automation of subsequent processes, it is necessary to add refined (or shaping) processes. After forging, the inspection process needs to be carried out, and finally the annealing process is for machining. The equipment arrangement is generally to connect the perforators of the heating furnace, press (or hammer, or flat forging machine) for assembly operation.
The blank is transmitted between the equipment with conveyor belts or slides in the iron groove. Most of the discharges are carried out separately, and secondary heating is required at this time.
