● Introduction
The structure of stainless steel deep groove ball bearings is the same as that of ordinary deep groove ball bearings. Its bearing rings and rolling elements are made of SUS440C stainless steel, and the cage and sealing ring frame materials are made of AISI304 stainless steel. The bearing has good rust resistance, strong corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, large load capacity, flexible rotation, stable operation, friction torque far less than that of sliding bearings, high limit speed, and long service life. The bearing is mainly used to accept radial load, and can also bear certain axial load. When the radial clearance of the bearing increases, it has the function of an angular contact ball bearing, which can bear a large axial load and is suitable for high-speed operation. When it is not suitable to use thrust ball bearings, this type of bearings can be used to introduce pure axial loads. The stainless steel deep groove ball bearings have the advantages of flexible rotation, stable operation, far less friction torque than sliding bearing, and long service life. But the overall bearing capacity is slightly smaller than that of ordinary bearings.

● Production Details
◆ Stainless bearing steel
9Cr18 and 9Cr18Mo are the most commonly used stainless bearing steels. The steel contains about 1 percent carbon and about 18 percent chromium, which belongs to high carbon martensitic stainless steel. After treatment, it has high strength, hardness, elasticity, wear resistance and contact fatigue resistance. This type of steel can be well resistant to atmospheric, seawater, and water vapor corrosion. After tempering at 530550 degree , because the hardness of this type of steel is 255HRC, it is sometimes used to manufacture high temperature corrosion-resistant bearing parts below 350 degree . And because this type of steel can better maintain stability at low temperature, it is also used to manufacture low-temperature bearing parts above -253 degree . 1Gr18Ni9Ti is austenitic stainless steel, which can be used to manufacture bearings working in light load, low speed, strong corrosive medium (nitric acid, aqueous solution of most organic and inorganic acids, alkali, drying gas, etc.). Because of its low hardness, it can only be used for high temperature, high speed, high wear resistance and low load bearings after chlorination treatment. It can also be used to manufacture antimagnetic bearings.
◆ Processing of steel balls
According to GB/T308-2002 "Rolling Bearing Steel Balls", the standard diameter, tolerance grade, subscale value and hardness of steel balls are stipulated.
The processing technology of the steel ball should first meet the requirements of the finished product standard, and the finished steel ball should also have high life, low noise, low friction and high reliability in the bearing element. The processing process varies with the shape of the blank material, the grade of the steel ball and the specific production conditions.
● Structural Features of the Cage
Regarding cages, they have various structural types and complex shapes. On the cage, there are many equidistant pockets (sometimes called window holes for rolling bearings) which are used to isolate and guide the rolling elements. The pockets are spherical, circular, elliptical, rectangular and toothed, etc., and their size is larger than that of the rolling element, and the difference between the two is the pocket gap. The pocket clearance makes the cage have a certain amount of movement in the radial and axial directions, and the total radial movement is called the cage clearance. The connecting part between the window holes of the roller cage is called the lintel, which acts to connect and increase the strength of the cage.
