In design, double row angular contact ball bearings are basically the same as single row angular contact ball bearings, but the former only takes up less axial space, with better rigidity and can withstand overturning moments. The bearing can withstand radial loads and axial loads acting in two directions. It can prevent the two-way axial displacement of the shaft or the housing, so it is mainly used in components that limit the two-way axial displacement of the shaft and the housing, so as to provide relatively rigid High bearing arrangement for applications where axial space is limited when two single row angular contact ball bearings are arranged in a back-to-back arrangement. Production Details



◆ Turning of angular contact ball bearing cages

Most of them are ball-shaped integral cage structures, and the processing process is roughly as follows: rough turning (ring) → flat end face, inner diameter of the turning → taper (expanding) pockets and marking on non-reference planes → (boring oval holes) → finishing the inner and outer diameters → finishing the end face → marking → deburring.

Check the center diameter and shape of the ball pocket through the sample plate, check the rolling depth through the steel ball pressure test, if the hand can push in without falling, it is qualified.

Check the elliptical hole by measuring the short axis of the plug gauge, measure the long axis by the piece-shaped plug gauge, and visually inspect the joint of the two circles, there should be no obvious steps.

◆ Defects in forging processing

1. White spots of internal defects, that is, there are silver-white spots with smooth surface on the longitudinal section of the steel after hot working, round or oval. They seriously affect the elongation, area reduction and impact toughness of the workpiece.

2. Due to improper forging, internal cracks in the shape of chicken feet or herringbone appear, and subtle cracks will also appear, which destroys the continuity of the metal. When the workpiece is subjected to high loads, especially repeated loads, it will fail early.

3. Surface defects have surface scarring, which makes the workpiece prone to stress concentration and fatigue fracture. The resulting burrs or scratches will affect the correct clamping and efficiency of the turning process, and severe scratches will reduce the strength of the steel and lead to cracks.

4. The end face concave center produced by rolling and expanding will increase the turning amount of turning or cause the forging to be scrapped.
