Annealing Process of the Bearing Ring



The general process of bearing steel annealing is:

1. Heating temperature: The ferrule made of GCr15 steel is 770~810℃, and 790℃ is considered to be a more suitable annealing temperature.

2. Holding time: It shortens with the increase of annealing temperature. Usually, the holding time in production is 2~6h.

3. Cooling speed: the key to the annealing process. When loading in large batches (loading capacity over 3t), the cooling rate is 10~20℃/h. When charging in small batches (loading capacity is 0.5~2t), the cooling rate is 20~30℃/h. When the temperature drops to 600 ℃ (GCr15 steel) or 550 ℃ (GCr15SiMn steel), it is free to cool.
