How to Choose Single Row Deep Groove Ball Bearings Grease?

Lubrication is extremely important to the operation and life of single row deep groove ball bearings, grease is made of base oil, thickener and additives, different types and the same type of different grades of grease performance varies greatly, allowing different rotational limits, in the selection must pay attention to. The performance of grease is mainly determined by the base oil, the general principle of grease selection: generally low viscosity base oil for low temperature, high speed, high viscosity for high temperature, high load. The thickener is also related to the lubrication performance, and the water resistance of the thickener determines the water resistance of the grease. In principle, different brands of grease cannot be mixed, and even the grease with the same thickener can bring adverse effects to each other because of different additives.

The general selection basis is the same as the selection of lubricant, such as temperature, speed, load, etc. Also can be based on the grease needle man degree and drop point to choose. The quality indexes of grease are needle penetration, dropping point, mechanical stability, oxidation stability, corrosion resistance, etc.

1. Dropping point: the actual working temperature of the bearing should be lower than the dropping point 30℃~50℃.

2. Needle penetration: 000#~1# is used for centralized lubrication system, 2# or 3# grease is used for general bearings, 4# grease is used in rare cases, low temperature grease with low consistency is used in low temperature, high temperature grease with high consistency and good heat and oxygen resistance is used in high temperature.
