How to Preserve the Lubricant of UC Bearings?

Most materials that contain lubricants and grease will deteriorate over time. A good storage method should be such that the stored items are readily available, while ensuring inventory turnover and use before significant performance loss occurs. The performance of lubricants for UC bearings can change significantly during storage due to air/oxygen, temperature, light, water and moisture vapor, oil separation and the presence of particles. Therefore, lubricants should be stored in a cool, dry room and not exposed to direct sunlight. The lubricant should be stored in the original storage container and opened only when needed. The container should be sealed again immediately after use.

The recommended maximum storage period is 2 years for greases and 10 years for oils, provided that proper storage methods are used and that excessive heat and cold are avoided. A lubricant or grease that has exceeded the recommended storage period is not necessarily unusable, but it should be checked for compliance with product requirements and regulations.
