There are many methods for axial positioning of miniature ball bearings. When choosing, the main consideration should be the size of the axial load and the speed of rotation, the type of bearing and the position of the bearing on the shaft as well as the installation and disassembly conditions. The larger the load, the higher the speed, the more reliable the axial positioning should be. When the load is large, bearing inner ring generally use lock nuts and stop washers, bearing outer ring more end caps, threaded ring fastening. When the axial load is smaller or lower speed, the inner ring of the bearing uses elastic retaining ring, tightening sleeve, withdrawal sleeve and other fastening, the outer ring of the bearing uses elastic retaining ring, stop ring and so on.
The choice of specific miniature ball bearings axial positioning method should depend on the requirements of the support structure. Both ends of the fixed support structure, each support end is only one-way axial load, so only need to be fixed axially from one direction, one fixed end of the swimming support structure, the fixed end of the two-way axial load, so need two-way axial fixed, and the swimming end should be used according to the type of bearing and the way of swimming different axial positioning.
