● Introduction
Single direction thrust ball bearings is a separable bearing, whose shaft ring and seat ring can be separated from cage and steel ball components. The separate components are interchangeable, so they are easy to install, remove and inspect for maintenance. The shaft ring is a ferrule matched with the shaft, and the seat ring is a ferrule matched with the bearing seat hole, and there is a gap between the shaft and the shaft. The thrust ball bearings can bear axial load in one direction, and can be used for axial positioning in one direction, but cannot bear radial load, and the limit speed is very low. During the operation of the single direction thrust ball bearings, due to the inertial force of the steel ball and the cage, relative sliding is caused between the steel ball and the edge of the channel, which increases the temperature of the bearing and affects the normal operation of the bearing. In order to prevent excessive sliding, it must be Keep the bearing in operation with a minimum axial load.
Single direction thrust bearings are suitable for parts bearing one side axial load and low speed, such as crane hooks, instant water pumps, instant centrifuges, jacks, low speed reducers, etc.

● Production Details
◆ Common machine tools for bearing ring turning
1. Ordinary lathe: it is mostly used for single-piece small batch production, and processing a certain surface of the bearing ring in mass production.
2. Hexagonal lathe: mostly used for small and medium batch production.
3. Vertical lathe: mostly used for single piece, small batch and extra large bearing rings.
4. Semi-automatic lathe: suitable for mass production.
5. Multi-axis automatic lathe: suitable for mass production and automatic line production.
6. Multi-tool profiling lathe: suitable for batch processing of medium and large bearing rings.
7. Special single-function lathe: used for mass production of a fixed process, such as finishing lathes, channel lathes, chamfering lathes, etc.
◆ Rockwell hardness (HR) testing
The Rockwell hardness testing method is an indentation test method that uses the indentation depth to calculate the hardness value (HR). The Rockwell hardness tester HR-150A is commonly used in bearing Rockwell hardness testing to detect the hardness of bearing parts after quenching and tempering, the hardness of finished bearing parts, the depth of effective hardened layer of deep carburized bearing parts, and the hardness of bearing forgings after annealing. Rockwell hardness is a function of indentation depth, its mathematical expression is HR=(Kt)/0.002 (K is the indentation constant, t is the indentation depth, the unit is mm. 0.002 means that each indentation 0.002mm depth is one hardness units). When testing the Rockwell hardness of bearing steel balls and rollers, since the test surface is a curved surface, it should be corrected according to the different curvatures, please refer to the JB/T1255-2001 standard. When the diameter of the steel ball is greater than 15.8750mm and the diameter of the roller is greater than 15.0mm, no correction is required.
● The Normalizing Process of the Ferrule
The normalizing process mainly refers to the selection of heating temperature and cooling method, which depends on the purpose of normalizing, the shape of carbides in the microstructure before normalizing, and the shape and wall thickness of the ferrule. The normalizing holding time is generally 3050min. The cooling rate should not be less than 50 degree /min to prevent the precipitation of the carbide mesh. For thin-walled parts, spread cooling or blowing cooling. For thicker parts, spray, oil cooling or emulsion cooling should be used. In oil cooling, it is generally cooled to about 300 degree on the surface of the parts and taken out. After the surface oil burns, put it again cool in oil until the surface temperature is not lower than 250 degree . After normalizing, it should be tempered immediately or stress relief tempering at 400450 degree should be carried out first to avoid cracks. In the cooling of the emulsion, the temperature of the emulsion is generally controlled at 70100 degree , and the circulating cooling method is adopted. After the workpiece is cooled to 550650 degree , it is taken out for air cooling.
