● Introduction

Needle roller and cage assemblies are ferruleless needle roller bearings designated K. The needle rollers are precisely guided by the cage, which is an independent rolling element and the thinnest type of rolling bearing. It uses the hole wall of the seat hole as the outer raceway, and the journal as the inner raceway for running or swinging motion, and it can withstand impact loads or alternating loads. Bearings are available with stamped steel cages, solid brass cages or nylon cages. The guide surfaces of the cage are widely spaced, which can not only guide the needle rollers accurately, but also maintain the correct position of the needle rollers. The radial cross section of the bearing is the same as the diameter of the needle rollers, and bearings can be used in very small shaft and housing interior spaces. The needle roller and cage assemblies have a small radial cross section and a large load capacity, which is suitable for supporting structures with limited radial installation dimensions and applications in high-speed operation. ◆ Machined cage

In rolling bearings, the machined cage is generally guided by the outer diameter of the inner ring or the inner diameter of the outer ring (so that the cage has a fixed axis) instead of rolling elements. In addition, for large and extra large bearing cages with small production batches, the manufacturing method is also used due to the high cost and long cycle of making stamping forming dies. Many radial thrust ball bearings, especially when the contact angle is less than or equal to 30, are equipped with an integral cage guided by the inner ring.

Grease manufacturers should optimize grease composition, including thickeners, base oils, additives, production methods, and required post-processing.

Attention should be paid to adding grease: the grease added should be clean, and the grease should be added to the center of the bearing channel. The amount of grease should comply with the relevant bearing standards. Containers containing grease should be covered.
